Quarterback Starts

Daniel Jones @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Jones tossed only four touchdowns over the season’s first four weeks, but he’s thrown nine over four games since (with a TD run). Sunday’s matchup should be fast-paced and could turn into a shootout with a 50.5-point total. The Colts enter with healthy pass-catchers, and the Steelers have been gashed for more schedule-adjusted fantasy points to quarterbacks than all defenses but the Cowboys. Jones is my QB7 this week.

Jaxson Dart vs. San Francisco 49ers

Dart has been fantasy’s QB6 since taking over five games ago, tied with Jalen Hurts and ahead of Josh Allen. He’s done so while facing defenses ranked top six in schedule-adjusted QB fantasy points allowed during four of those games (and mostly without Malik Nabers and despite being robbed of a 68-yard TD pass last week).

Dart figures to see even more carries around the goal line with Cam Skattebo out for the season, and he already ranked fifth among quarterbacks in designed rush rate (12%). Dart gets a favorable matchup against an injury-ravaged 49ers’ defense that ranks last in non-blitz pressure rate since Nick Bosa went down. Dart is my QB9 this week, ahead of Kyler Murray and Caleb Williams.
