Caleb Williams vs. Dallas Cowboys
Williams has gotten just 6.4 YPA and ranks 30th in off-target throw rate, but he’s been fantasy’s QB9 over two weeks anyway. He’s posted a strong 10% scramble rate and has benefitted from Ben Johnson’s new system as expected; Chicago has used the fourth most pre-motion during dropbacks this season. The Cowboys struggled to pressure Russell Wilson last week despite New York missing LT Andrew Thomas and have allowed the most fantasy points to QBs since 2024.
The Bears remain a mess ranking bottom five in EPA/play both on offense and defense, but they are producing fantasy points. Both defenses in this matchup rank bottom three in yards per play allowed to open 2025. This game also projects to have the fastest pace this week. Williams is my QB6, ahead of Baker Mayfield.
