Fantasy draft season is officially here, so let’s circle around the league and give some final thoughts and (irresponsible) predictions for each team, continuing with the NFC North.
Chicago Bears
• The Bears won the offseason and are the trickiest team in the league to figure out entering 2025. Chicago might have gone from a bottom five coaching staff and offensive line to top five units in both. But there are many mouths to feed in Chicago, and fantasy managers will need Caleb Williams to play significantly better than last season. We’ll learn just how important Ben Johnson is this year.
• I’m fading DJ Moore’s ADP (WR21 in 0.5 PPR) given the uncertainty of target distribution under Chicago’s new staff. Rome Odunze, Luther Burden and top-10 pick Coleston Loveland are a lot of competition in an offense that averaged just 208.3 passing yards last year. Moore fared appreciably worse than 32-year-old Keenan Allen and rookie Odunze last season when screens were removed. I’m not drafting Moore ahead of George Pickens, Xavier Worthy, Tetairoa McMillan or Jameson Williams, among other WRs.
