Quarterbacks

Tyler Shough ($5.6K) @ New York Giants

Shough is coming off a nightmare game, but it came against a Vikings’ defense allowing the fewest QB fantasy points by a significant margin. Shough has been a huge beneficiary of volume, but the Saints ran just 43 plays last week, which were the third fewest by any team this season. Shough is the QB1 in expected fantasy points this year, and he gets a Giants’ defense allowing the ninth most fantasy points to quarterbacks this week.

Kirk Cousins ($5.4K) vs. Buffalo Bills

Cousins is coming off his worst fantasy performance of the season, but he returns home in a much more favorable matchup Sunday. The Bills have allowed the fourth most QB fantasy points and passing touchdowns (13) this season; Buffalo’s opponents have the league’s eighth highest pass rate (60.6 percent). Cousins threw 11 touchdowns over the first four weeks, and volume should be there in a matchup with the highest total (53.5 points) of any game this week.

Jameis Winston ($5.1K) vs. New Orleans Saints

Winston has been fantasy’s QB6 over the last two weeks, and he’s averaged the second most drop backs per game since taking over for Jaxson Dart. He’ll continue to benefit from Malik Nabers and a favorable matchup Sunday; the Saints have ceded 7.5 YPA this season. Winston is a cheap QB option this week, when the Giants possess a healthy team total of 22.5 points.

Others: Josh Allen ($7.5K), Drake Maye ($6.6K), Jalon Daniels ($4.8K)
