Waiver Wire, Week 4: Kenyon Sadiq and running backs of questionable quality

Another week, another terrible laundry list of injuries across the league.

If your squad is somehow perfectly healthy after three weeks, it is a sure sign you have made a deal with the devil for which you will suffer in eternal hellfire. But congrats on your solid fantasy start, I guess.

For the rest of you, here are the names I'll have in my waiver plans ahead of Week 4...

QB Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks

He's the guy who gets to throw JSN's two weekly touchdown receptions, so the floor is high. Darnold is also about to return to Seattle to face the smoldering ruins of the Chargers. He wasn't perfect in the loss at Washington, certainly, but it was an effective proof-of-concept game. He's healthy and approved for immediate use.

QB Marcus Mariota, Washington Commanders

Honestly, it's just great to know that a game like Sunday's 3-TD performance in a degree-of-difficulty matchup with Seattle is still in the range of outcomes for Mariota. We know he has some rushing juice — at least as much as any running back currently on Washington's roster. He's heading into a London matchup with a user-friendly Colts defense, which makes him entirely playable.
