DFS Week 2: Stacking Cowboys/Commanders

Quarterbacks

Dak Prescott ($6.4K) vs. Washington Commanders

The Cowboys disappointed in Week 1, but Prescott saw only two drives in the second half while Dallas finished with just 23 minutes time of possession. Prescott averaged 300+ passing yards and two+ touchdowns at home last season, when the Commanders ceded the third most fantasy points to quarterbacks. This matchup has the highest total on the slate (50.5-points) and provides plenty of stacking opportunities on both sides. 

Jayden Daniels ($6.3K) @ Dallas Cowboys

Daniels is coming off a rough start to the year, but he gets a more favorable matchup indoors this week. Dallas’ defense should improve over time, but the unit struggled mightily under a new DC last week against a Matt Nagy offense. The Cowboys surrendered the most fantasy points to quarterbacks by a wide margin last season, including the most rushing touchdowns. Daniels will continue to benefit from the addition of Stefon Diggs and could be in a shootout this week.  

Bo Nix ($5.7K) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Denver’s offense was atrocious during Davis Webb’s first game as play caller Monday night, but Nix should bounce back against a pass-funnel Jacksonville defense. It’s tough to evaluate the Jaguars’ 2026 defense after facing Deshaun Watson, but Jacksonville’s opponents owned the league’s highest pass rate (64.0%) last season; running backs averaged an NFL-low 68.0 rushing yards versus the Jaguars. Nix has posted dramatic splits throughout his NFL career, averaging 251.3 passing yards while totaling 39 touchdowns over 17 games at home. His YPA jumps from 5.8 on the road to 7.2 at home, where his fantasy production has increased by 22.3%.

Running Backs 

Bijan Robinson ($8.2K) vs. Carolina Panthers 

Robinson saw 10 targets in Week 1, more than the rest of Atlanta’s pass catchers combined (nine). He also had 100+ more total yards than his teammates (173 to 65). Atlanta will continue to center its offense around Robinson with a shaky QB situation, and game-script shouldn’t get out of hand. The Panthers were a run-funnel defense last year, allowing the ninth most RB fantasy points but the seventh fewest QB points; Carolina opponents held the league’s sixth highest rush rate. The Panthers were gashed for 50+ RB fantasy points in Week 1, so Robinson is worth paying up for.
