These are my favorite quarterbacks going in the later rounds of fantasy drafts.

Tyler Shough, NO

Shough is a dual threat who plays indoors and will benefit from Kellen Moore’s system and one of the league’s easiest schedules (with 10 dome games) this season. He ranked fourth among QBs in designed rushing yards and third in expected rushing touchdowns (3.9) over his nine starts (Weeks 9-18) despite suffering a significant hip/spleen-area hematoma that curtailed his running over the final three games. Jordyn Tyson’s injury hurts, but he could provide a major boost in the second half. Shough is due for TD% regression, and he’s the perfect target in Superflex leagues.

Baker Mayfield, TB

Mayfield was fantasy’s QB4 over the first six weeks last season despite playing through a sprained MCL and ACL along with a badly bruised bicep. Mayfield’s production fell off while dealing with multiple more injuries throughout 2025, including to teammates Mike Evans, Emeka Egbuka and a decimated offensive line. However, a healthy Mayfield was fantasy’s QB3 (matching Josh Allen and Joe Burrow) in 2024, and he’ll be playing for his next contract this season.

Evans is gone, but Chris Godwin, Jalen McMillan and Egbuka should all be healthier (although Egbuka might be dealing with turf toe), and the Buccaneers also added rookie Ted Hurst and receiving back Kenneth Gainwell. Moreover, Mayfield will benefit from Zac Robinson’s extreme use of motion. Mayfield is a buy low in 2026 fantasy drafts.
