After examining the biggest discrepancies versus consensus in my quarterback, running back and wide receiver rankings, the tight end position concludes this series. I thought I was being contrarian ranking Brock Bowers over Trey McBride earlier this summer, but ADP and ECR now agree. I also have a whopping 25% exposure rate of Colston Loveland in Best Ball drafts right now, so don’t let my lack of hype here hide the fact I’m on him.
Tight Ends I like more
Dalton Kincaid (DDD = TE9 vs ECR = TE11)
Kincaid led all tight ends in yards, targets, first downs and fantasy points per route run last season despite playing all year on a torn PCL. He originally suffered the injury in 2024, and it limited his route participation throughout 2025. Kincaid had by far the highest percentage (39%!) among TEs in team receiving yards while on the field last year. He was third among all pass catchers in YPRR, and he possesses tier one fantasy upside if his knee cooperates. Kincaid never had surgery on his injured PCL, but it’s another year removed from the injury, and he says it’s the best he’s felt in his career at this point in the year. Kincaid has yet to miss a practice during camp.
DJ Moore is in Buffalo, but Kincaid could see increased slot work with Khalil Shakir possibly undergoing TightRope surgery during the offseason. Travis Kelce is ranked two spots higher among consensus, but I’ve never seen him taken ahead of Kincaid in any drafts.
