NFL Notes: Jonathon Brooks’ rising stock and more ADP trends

Brock Bowers has surpassed Trey McBride in ADP and “expert consensus ranks,” while Jahmyr Gibbs is now being drafted No. 1 over Bijan Robinson seemingly nine times out of 10. Here are more ADP trends I’ve noticed while “becoming a Best Ball bro” this summer.

Jonathon Brooks’ soaring ADP

Brooks’ consensus rank is the RB42, but he’s being drafted far more aggressively in most Best Ball leagues. Rico Dowdle is gone, and Chuba Hubbard (RB28 in ECR) is one of the league’s most replaceable starting backs. Brooks enters a heightened injury concern returning from his second ACL surgery, but evidence supports he can return to his previous level without significant risk increase. The former second-round pick would’ve been behind only Jeremiyah Love in this year’s RB class, and Brooks is just 2.5 months older than Jadarian Price. Brooks is the favorite for passing down work, and Carolina’s coaching staff has made it clear he’ll be given the chance to overtake the feature role.

I’ve moved Brooks outright ahead of Hubbard in my rankings and into the same tier as Rhamondre Stevenson and Tony Pollard.

Jaydon Blue’s second chance

Blue was a bust during his rookie season, but he impressed during a brief audition in Week 18, especially before the rest of Dallas’ starters were pulled. He enters 2026 with the most fantasy upside among the Cowboys’ running backs vying to back up Javonte Williams. Blue remains cheap in draft rooms, but his ADP is starting to rise given the positive press.
