New York Giants @ Detroit Lions

• Jahmyr Gibbs exploded for three touchdowns and 264 yards from scrimmage. Gibbs went untouched during his 69-yard score on the first play from scrimmage in overtime, and his speed is ridiculous. Gibbs finished with a career-high 219 rushing yards and with the biggest fantasy performance of the season. It’s just the sixth time a player has scored 55+ PPR fantasy points since 2020.

• Amon-Ra St. Brown bounced back with a season-high 149 yards, and he’s now averaged 103.4 yards with seven TDs over five home games this year.

• Jameson Williams was a major bust during the week he was ranked the highest of his career (WR13) among consensus. He had a long catch nullified in the third quarter, but Williams saw only three targets during 42 pass attempts and put up a goose egg. Still, Jamo projects as a borderline WR2 rest of season with Sam LaPorta out for the year.

• Jameis Winston was 7-of-10 for 183 yards with two TD passes midway through the second quarter, and he broke a tackle while catching a touchdown in the fourth during this week’s wildest play. Winston finished with an NFL-high 366 passing yards and as fantasy’s QB1 this week. The Giants recorded their most catches (10) for 20+ yards in 30+ years against a Detroit defense that hadn’t allowed a 300-yard passer this season.

• Wan’Dale Robinson had the most receiving yards in a first quarter (126) in any game this year and caught a long touchdown during another trick play. Robinson’s 14 targets were the second most in the league, and he’ll continue to benefit as long as Winston starts.

• The Giants suffered their fifth loss after leading in the fourth quarter this season and have dropped 12 straight road games.

• Tyrone Tracy Jr. saw his first two carries inside the five of the season but dealt with a tough matchup.

• No. 3 pick Abdul Carter has 0.5 sacks over his first 12 career games.

• The Giants were one of two teams (Jacksonville the other) who eschewed kicking a field goal to go up six points late in the fourth quarter, instead failing a fourth down attempt (but still going to overtime). They were shrewd moves (field position, going up six is the kiss of death, etc), no matter what the announcers (Jonathan Vilma, in this case) say.

Indianapolis Colts @ Kansas City Chiefs

• Patrick Mahomes threw for a season-high 352 yards and avoided losing a third straight game for the first time in his career, but he’s totaled just one touchdown over the last three games.

• Rashee Rice had a big game (12-8-141 and a two-point conversion) and was close to scoring touchdowns on multiple occasions, but he also pulled his hamstring late in the fourth quarter. He’d return to secure the game-winning catch in overtime, but Rice gave himself up on the play and hobbled off. He’s in danger of missing a favorable matchup in Dallas during a short week.

• Kareem Hunt’s lost fumble in the fourth quarter was Kansas City’s first in 20 games. Still, he ran for 104 yards and scored after entering without rushing for 60 yards in a game this season. Hunt finished as fantasy’s RB7 this week, but his future value depends on Isiah Pacheco’s health.

• Travis Kelce had a TD catch nullified in the first quarter, as the Chiefs failed to score a touchdown in the first half in the fourth game this season.

• Kansas City fell from the ninth to the 10th seed despite securing its first one-score win of the year.

• Jonathan Taylor was held to a season-low 22 rush yards in the first half and had the rare fantasy dud in a difficult matchup.

• Indianapolis entered with an NFL-high nine giveaways on the road, but Daniel Jones didn’t commit any turnovers (or take any sacks). However, the Colts failed to record a first down during their final four possessions while blowing a 20-9 lead.

• The Colts’ defense was on the field for a whopping 91 plays, as the Chiefs had 33 first downs to just 10 for Indy.

The declining Tony Romo informed the audience a win would be better than a tie for Kansas City.

New York Jets @ Baltimore Ravens

• It’s evident Lamar Jackson doesn’t have the same juice while playing through his hamstring, knee and ankle injuries. Jackson has failed to rush for 15 yards in three of four games since returning after doing so in all but one game last year. Jackson has totaled zero touchdowns over the last two weeks, and he had only 59 passing yards at halftime Sunday against a New York defense that just traded away its best players. Josh Allen and Jackson combined to score only 15.4 fantasy points this week.

• Derrick Henry was held to just 3.0 YPC, but two short TDs saved his fantasy day (thanks to a whopping six rush attempts inside the five). He gets a highly favorable matchup against the Bengals’ league worst run defense twice over the next three weeks, but the Ravens’ offense isn’t the same with a hobbled Jackson.

• Zay Flowers’ fantasy value would be a lot higher if Baltimore ever used him in the red zone.

• The Ravens just barely avoided being shutout in the first half for the first time in an NFL-high 139 games.

• Breece Hall lost a fumble near the goal-line in the fourth quarter, but he almost recorded as many receiving yards (75) as he had totaled over his previous five games (76 yards). Hall showed good juice during the rare occasions he was in space, and the Jets’ schedule eases up down the stretch. The receiving usage was highly encouraging.

• John Metchie acted as New York’s WR1, but AD Mitchell matched him in targets and was among the league leaders with 182 air yards this week. Tyrod Taylor is an upgrade for the Jets’ pass catchers, and Mitchell is going to have a spike week at a cheap DFS price one of these weeks. He’s been close to much bigger box scores recently, and New York is bullish on their young wideout. Mitchell is a dynasty target.

• The Jets have somehow still not intercepted a single pass this season.

New England Patriots @ Cincinnati Bengals

• Drake Maye got 8.0+ YPA for the ninth straight game, but he and New England’s rushing attack both disappointed in a prime fantasy matchup. Maye tossed a pick-six in the second quarter, while Joe Flacco threw one for the second week in a row shortly thereafter.

• TreVeyon Henderson got the start and saw 21 touches, but he was barely a top 20 fantasy back this week despite facing the league’s worst run defense. Cincinnati had allowed seven RB1 performances over the previous six weeks, but New England was down multiple guards and lost LT Will Campbell to a possible serious knee injury. Henderson dominated work while Rhamondre Stevenson managed just 10 yards on seven touches, so the rookie’s usage was very encouraging (other than goal-line issues we’ll address below). The loss of Campbell is terrible news, but Henderson gets maybe an even a worse run defense (Giants) in Week 13 and then Buffalo, so his fantasy arrow is pointing up.

• Terrell Jennings came in and was stuffed on first-and-goal after Henderson was tackled at the one at the end of a catch in the third quarter. Henderson reentered during second down, when Hunter Henry caught his would-be second TD, but it was called back via penalty. Henry then made a 10-yard catch and was tackled at the one on the next play, followed by Rhamondre Stevenson getting stuffed on third and fourth downs.

Henry was also tackled inside the five in the fourth quarter, when New England again struggled to punch in a score. Stevenson entered during a failed pass on first-and-goal, while Henderson came within inches from scoring during a strong carry on second. Maye was stuffed on third down, and the Pats settled for a chip FG after seven straight failed attempts inside the five.

• Henry scored more than twice as many fantasy points (0.5 PPR) as any other tight end this week, as the Bengals continue to hemorrhage production to the position. Cincinnati has allowed 13 touchdowns to tight ends this season; no other team has allowed more than seven.

• Stefon Diggs busted while ranked as the WR12 among consensus this week.

• Tee Higgins suffered a concussion after his head slammed into the ground during a scary situation. Ja’Marr Chase will be returning next week likely with Joe Burrow and almost certainly without Higgins since the Bengals play on Thanksgiving.

• No running back had reached 60 rushing yards against New England this season before Chase Brown ran for 107 on Sunday. Brown recorded 17 receiving yards without a catch during one play, but no touchdown hurt his fantasy line. New England’s run defense was noticeably worse without DT Milton Williams (IR) on Sunday, but Brown has shown far more juice over the last month and looked good this week.

Minnesota Vikings @ Green Bay Packers

• Emanuel Wilson became the first Green Bay RB to run for 100 yards this season and scored two goal-line touchdowns. The Packers remained run-heavy as usual despite Josh Jacobs’ absence, and game-script was positive throughout thanks to J.J. McCarthy. Wilson was the RB2 this week, but Jacobs will likely be ready for Thursday’s game.

• Jordan Love’s fantasy value has been limited while he plays through a left shoulder injury, although Week 13 could turn into a shootout in Detroit.

• Christian Watson’s 31.8% target share was the second highest of his career.

• Aaron Jones Sr. (nine carries) split work more evenly with Jordan Mason (eight), and everyone on Minnesota is being hampered by McCarthy, who would’ve had a higher Passer Rating Sunday if he had just spiked the ball on every play.

• McCarthy has thrown for fewer than 160 yards in five of six starts in a system that allowed Nick Mullens to average 305.8 yards. McCarthy’s EPA/play was in the second percentile, and his average depth of target was only 5.8 yards (12th percentile). McCarthy has thrown multiple picks in three straight games, and he now ranks 851 out of 852 in EPA per dropback since 2000. The only player below McCarthy is JaMarcus Russell. I’m beginning to think the Vikings would’ve been better off with Sam Darnold.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Chicago Bears

• Caleb Williams threw three TDs (two to DJ Moore) as the Bears improved to 8-3 on the season. Williams continues to show growth, but Chicago’s easy schedule is about to get far more difficult.

• Luther Burden can play, and he’s a threat to emerge as the Bears’ WR1 in 2026.

• D’Andre Swift (1.9 YPC) saw just 8-of-12 RB carries and lost a goal-line TD to Kyle Monangai in the fourth quarter. Chicago will continue to use a “hot hand” approach at running back.

• The Bears are just the third team in NFL history to have eight wins and a negative point (-3) differential through 11 games.

• DK Metcalf had an early TD run but injured his ankle in the second quarter. He was able to return but finished with a meager 22 yards on eight targets from Mason Rudolph.

• Jaylen Warren led Pittsburgh’s backfield and had a TD, but Kenneth Gainwell totaled 122 yards from scrimmage and scored more fantasy points. Gainwell’s big day was nearly much bigger. He was just inches from crossing the GL at the end of a career-long 56-yard run during a fake tush push on fourth down (Warren scored the next play), and Gainwell also had a TD run nullified in the fourth quarter.

Seattle Seahawks @ Tennessee Titans

• Jaxson Smith-Njigba erupted for a season-high 167 receiving yards and scored multiple TDs for the first time this year. JSN took a 63-yarder to the crib and finished as fantasy’s WR1 this week. Smith-Njigba broke Seattle’s season franchise receiving record before Thanksgiving and is the first player in NFL history with 75+ receiving yards in each of his team’s first 11 games. What a beast.

• Kenneth Walker had his best role of the season and totaled 101 yards from scrimmage, but Zach Charbonnet stole another goal-line TD. Walker had a failed goal-line carry earlier in the game, but this remains a frustrating fantasy situation.

• Cam Ward played the best game of his career in a tough matchup, also leading Tennessee in rushing and finishing as fantasy’s QB4 this week.

• Gunnar Helm > Chig Okwonkwo rest of season.

• Chimere Dike caught a TD and returned a punt to the house for the second time this season. The rookie is emerging as the Titans’ WR1.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys

• George Pickens was shut down when shadowed by Quinyon Mitchell earlier this season, but he erupted for 146 yards and a score Sunday, finishing as fantasy’s WR4. Pickens pulled down an impressive catch downfield in the fourth quarter, he now has more receiving yards than all the Steelers’ wide receivers combined this season. Pickens also has 119 more yards and 19 more fantasy points over five games since CeeDee Lamb returned from a high-ankle sprain.

• Lamb leads the Cowboys in targets (39) and red zone targets (nine) over the last four games, but he also leads the NFL in drops this season despite missing multiple contests. Lamb suffered at least three Sunday, including a drop in the end zone late in the game. It’s not something to worry about.

• Javonte Williams was tackled at the one late in the first half, only to watch Dallas commit a false start and then Dak Prescott throw a pick in the end zone on second-and-goal.

• Prescott is now 22-2 at home against divisional opponents, including 19 straight wins.

• The Cowboys’ run defense has allowed just 90 rushing yards on 30 carries over two games since trading for Quinnen Williams.

• Dallas tipped the ball during a roughing the punter penalty in the first quarter, but the Cowboys failed to challenge the play (resulting in a Jalen Hurts TD run).

• Hurts had three touchdowns (two rushing) in the first half, but the Eagles were blanked over the final two quarters. Philadelphia lost after leading 21-0 and hadn’t trailed in a game since Week 6 until Brandon Aubrey’s field goal as time expired.

• AJ Brown was the WR5 this week, while DeVonta Smith was tackled at the one in the second quarter (with Hurts executing a tush push the next play).

• Saquon Barkley got just 2.2 YPC and lost a fumble in the fourth quarter, as the Eagles posted their worst rushing success rate in a game since 2015.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Arizona Cardinals

• Trevor Lawrence took as many sacks (three) as he had completions in the first half, and he then threw a pick in the end zone during the Jaguars’ opening drive in the third quarter. Lawrence finished with three touchdowns, four turnovers and as the QB7.

• Travis Etienne had a TD catch during Jacksonville’s opening drive and dominated work over Bhayshul Tuten.

• Brenton Strange made a strong return, and he’s now led the Jaguars in receiving in three of his five full games this season, averaging 55.0 receiving YPG (~TE8) over that sample.

• Michael Wilson led the league with 15 targets, and he also drew a long DPI to go along with his 118 yards. Wilson had seven receptions at halftime, which are the most Marvin Harrison Jr. has ever had in a game in his career. Wilson would be a borderline WR1 in Tampa Bay in Week 13 if MHJ sits again.

• Trey McBride has recorded at least five catches in 13 straight games (he did it before halftime Sunday), tied with Tony Gonzalez for the second most ever by a tight end.

• The Cardinals entered averaging 90 more yards per game with Jacoby Brissett compared to Kyler Murray. Brissett has thrown for 769 yards over the last two weeks.

• Arizona had a big man defensive TD but somehow lost despite winning the turnover battle four to zero.

Cleveland Browns @ Las Vegas Raiders

• Shedeur Sanders went 7-of-11 for 127 yards (11.5 YPA) in the first half, and he took just one sack for a three-yard loss all game. Rookie Dylan Sampson did most of the work during Sanders’ first career TD toss, but Cleveland had gone 15 games without a 50-yard pass before Sanders hit Isaiah Bond for an early 52-yard gain. Sanders had a bad pick in the second quarter and was facing Da Raidas, but the Browns shouldn’t even think of turning back to Dillon Gabriel after Sunday’s performance. Cleveland QBs had been 0-17 when making their first career start since 1999.

• Quinshon Judkins punched in two goal-line TDs out of the wildcat in the first quarter, but he had just seven carries for 18 yards at halftime. Judkins went down with an apparent injury and visited the medical tent late in the third quarter, but he’d eventually return with an angry run late in the game (with Sampson impressing in between).

• Jerry Jeudy comically lost a fumble while high-stepping at midfield.

• Myles Garrett has recorded 13 sacks over his last four games and is on pace to shatter the NFL record with 28 this season while playing on a team that’s rarely ahead.

• Geno Smith took 10 sacks, and OC Chip Kelly was fired after the game.

• Ashton Jeanty managed just 2.8 YPC but was active as a receiver, including catching a TD in garbage time. Jeanty was fantasy’s RB4 despite the tough opponent, and he leads all rookies with eight touchdowns. Jeanty was shaken up after taking an unnecessary hit late, but he was able to walk off on his own.

Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints

• Kirk Cousins threw a pick-six but played better while connecting with Darnell Mooney for a 49-yard score (Mooney’s first of the year). Game-script required a modest 23 pass attempts.

• Bijan Robinson saw 16 opportunities compared to 13 for Tyler Allgeier.

• Alvin Kamara left in the first half with a knee injury. Rookie Devin Neal is next man up in New Orleans’ backfield, but his fantasy upside is limited by the Saints’ offense and losing goal-line touches to Taysom Hill.

• Hill saw all three of New Orleans’ carries inside the 10 and also threw a pass around the goal-line.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Los Angeles Rams

• Matthew Stafford had 210 yards and three TD passes in the first half despite Los Angeles scoring a defensive touchdown. He finished as fantasy’s QB5 without throwing much in the second half thanks to the lopsided score. The MVP frontrunner has tossed 27 touchdowns since his last interception.

• Kyren Williams somehow had just two rush attempts for three yards with the Rams up 31-7 at halftime, when Blake Corum had three carries for 21. Chalk it up to the pass-funnel opponent, and Williams ended with 12 carries compared to seven for Corum.

• Davante Adams pulled down two TD catches in the first half, and he’s up to a league leading 12 on the year.

• Baker Mayfield sprained his left shoulder and will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of his injury. He appeared to get injured in the second quarter and then aggravated it while attempting a Hail Mary at the end of the half. Mayfield wouldn’t return, and the offense would take an obvious hit should Teddy Bridgewater need to start.
