Regrettably, we are back to the four-teams-on-bye nonsense this week, and of course we have another fresh batch of injuries to manage around. But this is the life you chose. Let’s get to work.
Each week around here, we offer a collection of playable fantasy options, all available in a majority of leagues and approved for use.
QUARTERBACKS
Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
35% rostered at Sleeper
Look, it’s a rough week on the wire at quarterback, OK?
Lawrence tossed one touchdown pass on Sunday and ran for another in his team’s surprisingly not-so-stressful win. The rushing score was the fifth of the season for a player who should have been a serious dual-threat QB from the moment he entered the league. He’s definitely capable of delivering 20-plus fantasy points this week, facing an Arizona defense that was just lit up by Brock Purdy and the Niners.

Other approved QBs: Jacoby Brissett (vs. Jac).
Superflex only: Kirk Cousins (at NO), Tyrod Taylor (at Bal), Mason Rudolph (at Chi).
RUNNING BACKS
Chris Rodriguez, Washington Commanders
29% rostered
For the second consecutive week, Rodriguez drew the start in Washington’s backfield and functioned as the clear featured runner — and on Sunday in Madrid, he was particularly effective. He gashed Miami’s defense for 85 total yards on 16 touches, while Jacory Croskey-Merritt was limited to a supporting role (which was arguably too big). Rodriguez is a 225-pound punisher, lab-built for goal-line success.
The Commanders are headed into a bye following the European trip, so Rodriguez can’t actually help you in the week ahead. He has a clear shot to be a fantasy difference-maker, however, because the team’s rest-of-season schedule includes matchups with the user-friendly Giants and Cowboys. Rodriguez is a high-priority pickup.
