We have a pair of exceedingly fantasy-relevant offenses on bye in the week ahead (Baltimore and Buffalo), plus a fresh batch of injuries to manage around (Puka, Egbuka, various others). It never gets easier in this game. But if your roster needs a few quick fixes, we can help. Each week, we provide you with a list of preferred waiver wire options, curated and prioritized for your convenience. Every player discussed below (with maybe one exception) is currently available in a majority of actively managed fantasy leagues.
QUARTERBACKS
Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
46% rostered at Sleeper
For the first time in forever, the Giants offense is kind of a party.
Do you not enjoy parties? Do you not like fun things?
If you don’t, then you should definitely stay away from Dart and Cam Skattebo and everyone else involved in this team’s rollicking carnival of yards and points.
Dart clearly possesses the sort of dual-threat talent shared by the upper-tier quarterbacks in our game. He’s topped 50 rushing yards in each of his first three career starts, which already puts him in rare and historically exclusive company. As a passer, he’s been extremely clean. Dart is strangely comfortable amid chaos:

His profile is basically bulletproof in fantasy. Players like this have QB1 upside in any given week, regardless of matchup. He shouldn’t be eligible for yet another write-up in our waiver wire feature, so this will serve as last call.
FAAB: 16%
Other approved QBs: Aaron Rodgers (at Cin), Trevor Lawrence (vs. LAR), Bryce Young (at NYJ), Joe Flacco (vs. Pit)
RUNNING BACKS
Kimani Vidal, Los Angeles Chargers
45% rostered
It seemed inevitable that someone in LA’s backfield would have a productive day against Miami’s league-worst run defense. Vidal exceeded expectations, delivering 138 scrimmage yards with a receiving score included:

Vidal out-touched Hassan Haskins by a wide margin, 21 to seven. It was basically never a contest between those two. Vidal’s performance should be enough to dissuade the Chargers from taking a big swing at running back on the trade market. For at least a week, the Kimani zealots can rejoice.
