Quarterback Starts
Daniel Jones vs. Las Vegas Raiders
Jones is getting 8.9 YPA and has the same designed-run rate as Josh Allen. He’s playing fantastic, but Jones’ TD rate (3.3%) ranks fifth worst and is sure to regress. He gets a matchup against a pass-funnel Raiders’ defense that’s allowing the lowest EPA/rush but the eighth highest EPA/pass.
Las Vegas’ opponents own the league’s fourth-highest neutral pass rate. Moreover, quarterbacks have the fourth most rush attempts versus the Raiders this season. The Colts have the third highest implied team total (27.5 points). Jones is my QB7 this week, ahead of Drake Maye.
Dak Prescott @ New York Jets
Prescott had a big game last week in a tough matchup without CeeDee Lamb. He goes back on the road Sunday but gets another favorable opponent. The Jets have one of the league’s worst pass defenses, and Dallas sports the fifth highest implied team total (25.5 points) in Week 5. This matchup should be fast paced, so Prescott is my QB11, ahead of Baker Mayfield.
Jaxson Dart @ New Orleans Saints
Dart will undoubtedly miss Malik Nabers, but he remains an intriguing fantasy QB in the right matchups. Dart’s 14% scramble rate leads all quarterbacks. He gets a Saints’ defense allowing the sixth most QB fantasy points and the fourth most EPA/pass indoors Sunday. New Orleans’ league-leading pace usually leads to more plays. Dart is my QB13, ahead of Bo Nix.
