Daniel Jones ($5.8K) vs. Las Vegas Raiders
Jones is getting 8.9 YPA and has the same designed-run rate as Josh Allen. He lost a touchdown pass last week when Adonai Mitchell fumbled the ball on his own just before reaching the end zone. Jones gets a matchup against a pass-funnel Raiders’ defense that’s allowing the lowest EPA/rush but the eighth highest EPA/pass. Quarterbacks have the fourth most rush attempts versus Las Vegas this season. The Colts have the second highest implied team total (27.5 points), and Jones remains affordably priced as the QB9 on the slate.
Justin Fields ($5.6K) vs. Dallas Cowboys
It can be ugly with Fields at times, but his running pays the fantasy bills. He’s averaged an NFL-high 6.0 designed runs while getting the second most fantasy points per dropback. Fields is facing a Cowboys’ defense ceding 9.2 YPA, a 10:1 TD:INT ratio and the most fantasy points to quarterbacks. It’s unclear how much Fields and New York can take advantage of Dallas’ vulnerability in its secondary, but the Cowboys have also allowed the sixth-most QB rushing yards and just played a whopping 79 plays on defense last week.
