Everyone remembers when the Saints looked like an unstoppable offensive juggernaut after two weeks last season, right?

I swear I'm not making that up. It definitely happened.

New Orleans opened the year at 2-0 with a point differential of +62. Derek Carr had passed for five touchdowns and rushed for another. The Saints were a revelation, a serious story.

By the end of the season, as you might recall, they were 5-12 and buried at the bottom of a sketchy division. New Orleans had played their way into a top-10 draft pick. Their point differential was -60. Carr, who is now retired, had only 10 additional TDs remaining in his arm and none in his legs.

We bring all this up as a way of reminding you that the opening weeks of every NFL season are loaded with noise and outright lies. These are dangerous days. Let's please resist the urge to get transactionally wild.

Being responsible fantasy analysts, Dalton and I are merely engaging in selective overreaction at the present time, not scattershot or reckless overreaction. Here's our roadmap to Week 2 of your fantasy season...
