OK, so that headline is slightly hyperbolic.
I am aware of at least two additional believers in Lawrence — but one of them is this chucklehead, who I’m not sure strengthens the case.
The other, however, is the current head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Liam Coen. His endorsement seems pretty important.
Coen, famously, was the playcaller and coordinator who coached Baker Mayfield to a 4500-yard, 41-touchdown season that no one saw coming. Just a couple years ago, Mayfield had fewer true believers than Lawrence has today.
