As ever, running back is the essential position to get right in fantasy football. It's the spot offering the greatest league-tilting upside.
But in dynasty start-ups, we're looking for elite production, week-to-week consistency and projectable future dominance. The upper-tier wide receivers are generally the best bets to check all those boxes. If we're launching a dynasty league from scratch, the preference is to build around one of the game's premier young wideouts (nearly all of whom are LSU products, which is wild).
